Metrology for Smart Grids Workshop - Great success!

25-26 June 2013, Noordwijk, The Netherlands

The Smart Grid Metrology workshop organized by VSL on 25 and 26 June in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, was a great success! The workshop was one of the final activities of a European joint research project in the area of Smart Grid Metrology. The well-attended workshop had more than 60 participants, which apart from the project partners consisted of around 20 manufacturers, utilities, and other project stakeholders.

The workshop had oral and poster presentations, as well as a series of booths where project partners and equipment manufacturers showed their high precision measurement for application in smart grids. The oral presentations were followed by lively discussions, many of which were continued in the breaks of the workshop.

Here an overview of all workshop presentations with links to the presentation files:

Session 1: Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs)

Session 2: On-site power and energy measurement for revenue metering

Session 3: Tools for portable and remote measurement of Power Quality

Session 4: Smart Grid system state for stabilised power flow
